I’m Nick Chadwick, proprietor of Winearray, and it's my aim to make the Winearray website an extension of the shop, which is situated on the High Street in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. Winearray is a cornucopia of fine wines and cigars; a compact and very vibrant place to be, full of interest, individuality and knowledegable, friendly advice. The ideal place to shop for the finest in wines, spirits and cigars. Whether you live in Boroughbridge, Harrogate, York, Leeds or just happen to be passing between London and Edinburgh on the A1(M), I would be delighted to help you in your choice of wines, Cuban cigars, single malts and cognacs. Right from day one, I have chosen to work with small, independent, specialist importers, especially those who have a particular passion and insight for a country or a region. This means that the importers and I are working predominantly with winemakers of a similar frame of mind; ones who value their independence and individuality, their location, their tradition and seek to express this through their wines. I take a lot of pride and a lot of pleasure in representing these wines and presenting them to you for your enjoyment. Whenever I get the chance, I visit the people and the places where the wines (or cigars!) are created and, dizzy with enthusiasm and useful insight, come back trying my best to paint pictures through tastings and advice to customers looking to taste and enjoy the finest wines. Through the website and the shop, I am keen to help you choose the wines that you like, as well as helping you to delve into some wines that you may not previously have considered.
